We recently updated the home studio and it’s ready for maternity photos, new born babies, beautiful you clients and of course professional business portraits.

I started Tina Bolling Photography in 1994. Back then, I still shot film. Before I decided to go out on my own, I worked for several professional photographers, and learned not only how to use studio lighting, but how to run a photography business. I also learned what I didn’t want my business to be.  The photographers I worked with had studios and did most of their work using lights. Working for them helped me realize I didn’t want to be a studio photographer, but instead I wanted to shoot on location using only available natural light. And so, I learned how to manipulate light to my benefit and created a style all my own.

When I started my business,  my parents helped me build a darkroom and I shot all my work outside or using window light. Today I still shoot 90% on location, and 10% in my home studio, and I use a  Nikon digital SLR camera. I don’t use a darkroom any longer. I reconfigured my garage into an wonderful studio space, for when I need it, but I still prefer beautiful outdoor photos.  I have a home office where I do all the computer processing. I don’t miss the darkroom, PhotoShop is awesome!

If you are interested in scheduling a photo session with me, please give me a call or send me an email. I generally book out at least three to six weeks, so please call ahead to make your appointment. Thank you for your interest in my work. I look forward to working with you.
